Ke‘anae, Maui

Church Restoration

Aloha,

Welcome to Lanakila ‘Ihi‘ihi O Iehowa O na Kaua Church, otherwise known as Ke‘anae Congregational Church. After being built in 1860, having been the only building in the area to survive the tsunami in 1946, and being restored in 1969, this church carries a lot of history and significance to this community and its people.

As you may notice, our church is currently closed to the public. Due to a major storm in March of 2021, the church suffered severe damage that has not yet been repaired. As a small congregation, we are hopeful for all that the Lord has for this house of worship and gathering place in the future and are working towards necessary repairs. We are humbly accepting donations to help in these efforts. If you are unable to give financially, we are just as grateful for your prayers for us as we wait in anticipation of our church being restored. If you would like to partner with us in the mission of restoring our church to be able to better serve our community, you can make a donation by following the ‘Donate’ link below. Please reach out if you have any questions. We appreciate your kokua (help)!
